ED SHEERAN - GALWAY GIRL VIDEO

Ed Sheeran has today unveiled the official video for ‘Galway Girl’ - you can watch it below:

Filmed in Galway and Dublin last month and directed by Jason Koenig (Shape of You), the video was shot by Ed himself! The PoV footage stars an array of Irish names including Saoirse Ronan (Atonement, Brooklyn), folk band Beoga – who co-wrote and performed on the track with Ed - Irish comedian, Tommy Tiernan and many more. It also includes a segment from Ed’s Dublin 3Arena show, which took place in April. 

Sheeran’s third studio album ‘÷’ (pronounced “divide”) continues its reign as this year’s biggest-selling album. Having sold over 7 million copies worldwide since its release in March, the LP has remained at #1 in the Ireland Official Album's chart for 8 consecutive weeks and is now 6 x platinum in Ireland alone. 

Rounding off his phenomenal sold out UK & Ireland tour last night at London’s O2, Ed will return to the UK for his Glastonbury headline performance on Sunday 25th June.
