Republic Records and Universal Pictures unveil Liam Payne & Rita Ora’s “For You (Fifty Shades Freed)”as the first single from the forthcoming Fifty Shades Freed Official Soundtrack [Republic Records]. “For You (Fifty Shades Freed)”was written by Ali Payami(Taylor Swift, The Weeknd), Ali Tamposi (Kelly Clarkson), and multi-instrumentalist watt.
The Soundtrack arrives in stores everywhere and at all digital retailers on Friday, February 9, 2018—the same day Fifty Shades Freed opens in theatres nationwide.
This marks the third Soundtrack instalment in the mega-successful Fifty Shades franchise series. The Fifty Shades of Grey Official Soundtrackbowed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 in 2015, earned a platinum certification, and became the seventh-best-selling album of the year. 2017 saw the Fifty Shades Darker Official Soundtrack capture #1 on the Billboard Top 200 and reach RIAA gold status. 2018 brings the musical story full circle with the Fifty Shades Freed Official Soundtrack. Grammy Award-winning composer Danny Elfman scored the film while Dana Sano serves as music supervisor.
The 22-song compilation includes “Capital Letters” by Hailee Steinfeld x BloodPop, “Sacrifice” by Black Atlass featuring Jessie Reyez, “High” by Whethan & Dua Lipa and, of course, Liam Payne and Rita Ora’s lead number “For You,” which arrived last Friday
