The Stunning Release - Twice Around the World- on 16th March

A brand new, re-recorded, re-imagined version of their 1992 number one album “Once Around the World’. Includes the new singles ‘Brighten up my Life’, ‘Always You’ and a new recording of The Walls ‘Carrying the Fire’as well the hit singles ‘Heads are Gonna Roll’, ‘Everything that Rises’, ‘She’s on my Mind’, Mr Ginger’.

‘Once Around the World’, the follow-up to The Stunning’s multi-platinum debut ‘Paradise in the Picturehouse’ contained four hit singles and went straight to number one upon its release in 1992. However, the album hasn’t been available since the band split in ‘94. Since the band reformed in 2003 the songs have improved and matured. They felt the original recordings didn’t do the songs justice so they recorded it again.

The new record, re-named ‘Twice Around the World’, captures these songs at their very best. Also included are the brand new singles ‘Always You’ and ‘Brighten up my Life’, the latter having received over a thousand plays on Irish radio since it’s release in May 2017. ‘Heads are Gonna Roll’ is the next song to be serviced to radio, making it the seventh single to be released from this brilliant album.

The Stunning will launch the album on March 16^th with a show at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin. Dates to follow include Cork, Waterford, Limerick, Kilkenny, with more to be announced. Go to www.thestunning.net for details.
