Disc 1 - 1964 v Kilkenny

Kilkenny were the defending champions and in successive years backed to beat an experienced but ageing Tipp team. But the Premier County were too strong for The Cats easily winning by 14 points. The following year Tipperary’s greatest ever team beat Wexford (2-16 to 0-10) to make it four All-Irelands in five. If they had not lost the 1963 Munster final to Waterford they could have won the first (and only) All-Ireland hurling five-in-a-row.

Disc 2 - 1989 v Antrim

Tipperary, managed by county legend Babs Keating , were playing Antrim who were only making their second ever appearance in an All-Ireland final, some 46 years after they lost to Cork.  The game was a personal triumph for Nicky English who set a single player’s scoring record (2-12) to win his first All-Ireland medal. The victory for Tipperary, eighteen years after their last in 1971, preserved their unique record of winning in every decade of the GAA's existence up to then.

Disc 3 - 1991 v Kilkenny

Victorious in’89, this was Tipperary’s third All-Ireland final in four years. Kilkenny were in their first final since losing to Galway in ’87 and hadn’t played Tipp in a final for 20 years (when they lost). Kilkenny had only scraped past Antrim in the semi-final and in the final decider were outscored by the red-hot favourites.

Disc 4 - 2001 v Galway

Tipperary last final appearance was in the 1997 final when they were beaten by Clare in the first ever all-Munster All-Ireland decider. Galway lost to Kilkenny in 1993 and last raised the Liam MacCarthy Cup when they defeated Tipperary in 1988. But this time the tables were turned. In a thrilling match Tipp won their first All-Ireland title in 10 years

Disc 5 (Double DVD) - 2010 v Kilkenny

This was a repeat of the 2009 final with Kilkenny attempting to win a fifth title in-a-row - a feat never achieved in either hurling or Gaelic football. The live game was watched by the highest ever Irish TV audience for an All-Ireland Hurling Final on RTE. The match turned out to be a huge disappointment for Brian Cody’s men as Tipperary triumphed with a brilliant display of hurling.

2016 v Kilkenny

This was the fifth final between Tipperary and Kilkenny in 7 years, with The Cats leading the series 3-1 and also chasing the coveted three-in-a-row. A couple of hours after the Tipp minor team won their All-Ireland title, the seniors clinched their 27th All-Ireland title ensuring Tipperary won their first minor-senior double since 1949.

Faulty / Defective Goods:

  • If the item(s) are faulty or defective in any way, you can contact us within 30 days with the reason and seek a replacement or full refund.
  • ebuzz.ie accepts reasonable returns postage charges and will also refund you for these once proof of postage is supplied. In some cases depending on value of the goods, ebuzz.ie may opt to send a courier to collect the faulty / defective item(s).

  • These items have a 28 day DOA (dead on arrival) returns policy. If unit is faulty within this time period, ebuzz will accept return of the item and verify the fault as provided by the customer. If a genuine fault is found customer will receive option of a replacement or full refund. This applies only to genuine faults. If the item does not have a genuine fault… water damage, misuse or neglect… etc.. then the item will be returned to the customer without a refund.
